The Governor of the State of Florida, Jeb Bush, has once again appointed John Quinlan to the State Board of Accountancy. The Florida Board of Accountancy consists of nine members, seven of whom must be certified public accountants and two of whom must be laypersons who are not and have never been certified public accountants or members of any closely related profession or occupation. Mr. Quinlan will serve in one of the non-accountant positions on the board for another four-year term. The members who are certified public accountants must have practiced public accounting on a substantially full-time basis for at least 5 years.
