Manatee County Chamber's "Leadership Manatee"
Selects Lori Dorman

Lori Dorman has recently been selected as a member of the Leadership Manatee 2003-2004 class. Leadership Manatee is part of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce. This program identifies community leaders, exposes them to the problems and opportunities within Manatee County and assists them in undertaking an active role within various community organizations. The individuals selected must have attained a leadership position within his/her business or organization and demonstrated a commitment to the community through professional, civic and charitable organizations.

Since moving to Bradenton in September 1995, Lori has been active in various community organizations. She previously served as president of the Manatee County Bar Association and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL - Manatee County Chapter), and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Just for Girls. She also is an active volunteer for Habitat For Humanity, Island Middle School, Manatee Community College Events Committee and Stewart Elementary School. She continues to be involved with the local bar associations and other professional societies.

Lori is honored to have been selected as part of this year's Leadership Manatee class and is looking forward to taking on a new leadership role through this program.
