Lisa Bell, member of the Manatee County Chapter of FAWL (Florida Association of Women Lawyers) was presented with their annual Legal Woman of the Year award for 2007. FAWL was formed in 1951, and in 1988, the Manatee County Chapter was formed -- today there are 41 members in Manatee County alone. FAWL's members strive to promote the common interest of women lawyers, to advance the science of jurisprudence, to promote reforms in the law, to facilitate the administration of justice, and to uphold the highest standards of of integrity, learning, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession. Congratulations to Lisa Bell for receiving this year's Legal Woman of the Year from FAWL.
