Kathy W. Schermer practices in the area of banking and finance, specializing in commercial lending and government guaranteed lending, including drafting and negotiating loan documents for conventional and SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. She has extensive experience representing lenders with construction projects and condominium developments, as well as representing financial institutions in connection with operational matters. Mrs. Schermer is also experienced in all aspects of real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of real property, retail and office leasing, and general transactional matters. She is a title insurance agent for Chicago Title Insurance Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

Mrs. Schermer is a member of The Florida Bar, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Manatee County Bar Association. She is an elder and trustee of the First Presbyterian Church, Bradenton, Florida and a member of the Board of Directors of Manatee County Girls Club Foundation, Inc. She is married to Robert C. Schermer and has two daughters.
